Hendrik Martz

Hendrik Martz has been a professional screen and stage actor for the last 20 years, his success began early, as the lead actor of the celebrated German mini series Patrick Packard, he went on to work on over 20 Television series and numerous movies, as well as T.V. commercials.

He continues to be booked on American Television and Feature Movies as a Voice Over Dialogue actor.

Recently he completed a 3-year engagement of the play "woyzeck" at the Vaganten Theatre in Berlin and continues to be booked on such commercial campaigns as Skoda and Almette.

His professional work continues to bring forth creative challenges.

In 1989 he was accepted into the prestigious "Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre" located in NYC, to study the Meisner acting Technique directly under the esteemed Sanford Meisner, upon graduation he continued studying the Meisner Technique under Sidney Kay and Phil Gushee, noted American Acting teachers.

In 2009 Hendrik co founded "Martz&Walker". Based upon his experience as an actor who has stood in front of a camera for over 20 years, he aims to share this experience with the Martz + Walker students.

In 1989 he was accepted into the prestigious "Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre" located in NYC, to study the Meisner acting Technique directly under the esteemed Sanford Meisner and Richard Pinter, upon graduation he continued studying under Phil Gushee, Joe Ananaia noted American Acting teachers.

For the last ten years Jim has worked in the film industry in Los Angeles CA. in the capacities of Diretor/Producer “Two Kings and a Scribe”, Fox Studios, Filmmaker “In the Wake of Madness”, Editor and Writer “Oasis Hill”. He has worked with such notables as Roland Emmerich, Robert Richardson, Roman Coppola.

Recently he completed two directing jobs in Germany, a Fox Mobile spot and a Bittersuess Pictures feature “Making Of” film, since establishing himself in Berlin earlier this year. Currently developing children's programing/content for German Television.

As a Still Fotographer he has worked on BMW, COMCAST, CARMAX, L’OREAL, XBOX MICROSOFT campaigns.


In 2009 Jim co founded "Martz&Walker" and looks forward to sharing the insights he has consumed from his time spent in Los Angeles and his Global travels.
